I recently finished a rewrite on a screenplay entitled "Peter The Greatest." The original screenwriter is actor/author Claudia Christian ("Babylon 5," "The Hidden," Half Past Dead"). She has a brief role in "Serbian Scars," the script I wrote for producer Vladimir Rajcic which recently wrapped shooting in Belgrade which stars Michael Madsen and Mark Dacascos.

Claudia and I got to talking about the production and she asked if I'd take a look at her script, and a few weeks later I turned around the rewrite for her. She's submitting it to her agent and a producer who originally approached her about the project a few months ago, so hopefully it will move forward quickly.
- GML

Writing Resume - August Update

Just a quick update of my writing resume. The screenplay I wrote entitled "Serbian Scars" has wrapped filming in Belgrade and is entering post-production. In less than 2 days we shot a short film entitled "Would You Like Cream With That?" Our hard work paid off: the short went on to win Best Writing, Best Directing, and Best Acting Ensemble. You can see all of the winners at http://www.48hourfilm.com/milwaukee/ . I share the Writing and Directing honors with John Faust and Darren Hafford, who also put the whole crew together. Big thanks to everyone for their hard work.

I've also updated my writing resume. Currently two of the projects I've worked on, "Clever Deception" (rewrite) and "Serbian Scars" (original screenplay based on the producer's treatment) are in pre-production. My independent film "When Heaven Comes Down" is now being distributed internationally.

If you're a producer who's interested in one of my spec screenplays, the following titles are available for option or purchase:

Hairtrigger
Ballad of Broken Angels
Jake Houston: Man of Action
Shadows of Life
Tooth and Nail

I'm also available to write originals or work on rewrites. I would also be interested in finding a producer that can help secure financing for any of these projects instead of selling them outright. Please contact me at gmlumpp@comcast.net if you're interested in working together.

Gary M.
